Tag Heuer Builds Singapore’s First Floating Tennis Court

The court was set up at Singapore’s Clifford Pier.

Swiss watchmaker TAG Heuer has built a one-of-its-kind floating tennis court in Singapore at Clifford Pier.

Stretching out 35 by 17 metres across the water at Clifford Pier, and weighing up to 10 cars, the floating court was unveiled in an evening of sporting glamour and a key event on the fringe of the tournament.

Taking around 10 days to set up, the unique sports arena plays to the tune of Tag Heuer’s “Don’t Crack under Pressure” brand slogan campaigns.

While marine-based tennis wasn’t new, it did not stop Tag Heuer Brand Ambassador Maria Sharapova and Tennis superstar, Michael Chang to be the first ones to unveil and play on this uniquely designed tennis court.

More than hundreds of invited guests and Tag Heuer members gathered along the waterfront to catch a glimpse of the spectacle.

Indeed, it was a picturesque setting for an evening of light-hearted tennis between two Grand Slam Champions.

Tag Heuer also used the latest live-streaming technology to share fun and exciting events with its followers.
