Enemy acquires Dota 2 team

Enemy is set to challenge Dota 2 tournaments next year after acquiring a team mostly consisting of former Astral players.

The team, headlined by Brian “BananaSlamJamma” Canavan, is currently first in Join Dota League’s second North American division with a 13-1 record.

The team is also qualified for the Dota Pit group stage.

The team was originally part of Stratos eSports before joining Astral.

They were not contracted to Astral, according to Enemy.

“We’re excited to bring on the former Astral Authority roster. They haven’t even been around for 6 months and are already putting up significant results,” Dan Clerke, owner of Enemy had said in a press release.

“I think we can provide exactly what they’re looking for and hope to see them do well in 2016.”

The team members for Enemy’s Dota 2 roster are:

Brian “BannaSlamJamma” Canavan                Scott “Slayer” Palmer

Wang “Godlike” Poon                                       Andy “LokarN” Ordonez

Ryan “fROZEN” Davis
