North American-based EnVyUs had chosen to leave out Fabien “kioShiMa” Fiey from their Counter Strike: Global Offensive roster, replacing him with Timothée “DEVIL” Démolon who recently joined the team.
According to the EnVyUs official blog, after his transfer from his former team LDLC.White completed on Monday, DEVIL will be included in the team roster “effectively immediately.”
They added that DEVIL who had been regarded as one of the emerging young talents in the French Counter-Strike scene, helping LDLC.White to 3 titles and 6 Grand Final appearances within the last 10 months.
His latest performance was in a recent championship win at ASUS ROG Assembly Winter in Helsinki, Finland. EnVyUs believes that with such performances, the player will bring explosive rifling to an EnVy CS:GO lineup who is known for their precision aim and fragging ability.
The team will begin play with Démolon this week and have expressed intent to continue on with Démolon through the MLG Valve Major.
Meanwhile, the change will put Fiey on the bench, but the team will continue to honor Fiey’s contract with the team until a transfer deal can be reached to another club that Fiey wishes to play for or he is reinstated back into the EnVy CS:GO starting lineup.
However, kioShiMa had since issued a statement saying that communication within the team had been an issue, and that he felt he did not have the respect of the other members. This leaves huge doubts as to whether he would ever return to the EnVyUs main roster.
