Team SoloMid announced that they have brought in yet another Hearthstone player into their ranks by signing Julien “Cydonia” Perrault-Harvey.
“I am ecstatic to be joining TSM and I look forward to build on my successes of last year and to keep performing in tournaments and on ladder,” Cydonia added in the official announcement. “I will also maintain a bigger presence in the community by attending offline events and streaming regularly under the TSM banner.”
Previously, TSM had been known to sign Hearthstone streamers only, including Octavian “Kripparrian” Morosan and Jeffrey “Trump” Shih to the team.
Although the latter had enjoyed successes in the competitive scene in the past, Cydonia will join them with the express purpose of competing in major Hearthstone tournaments.
It was a good choice for TSM as Cydonia had enjoyed numerous success in the past year, winning the 2016 Hearthstone Championship Tour Americas Spring Championship and earning his spot at the 2016 Hearthstone World Championship at BlizzCon. He then proceeded to finish at a respectable fifth through eighth rank and take home $50,000.
While Cydonia will focus on competing in tournaments, he will also be a regular streamer alongside Trump and Kripp. Previously, he had played under the banner of Escape Gaming.
