Team Secret grabs final spot to complete PGL Open Bucharest lineup

Team Secret’s victory over mousesports would complete the EU region qualifiers for PGL Open Bucharest, thus completing the lineup for the minor tournament.

PGL previously announced the Dota 2 minor event in Romania near the end of August, but with a $300,000 prize pool and, more importantly, a major share of the 300 Circuit Points which count at The International 2018 direct invites system at stake, the team lineups are not short of amazing, as listed in the following:

  • Evil Geniuses direct invite)
  • LGD Gaming (direct invite)
  • Natus Vincere (CIS qualifiers)
  • Digital Chaos SA (SA qualifiers)
  • Immortals (NA qualifiers)
  • Mineski (SEA qualifiers)
  • VG J Thunder (CN qualifiers)
  • Team Secret (EU qualifiers)

The main event will run from the 19th to the 22nd of October, two days after  after the first minor of the Pro Circuit, and four days ahead of the first major — making a packed scheduling for most of the teams attending.

Indeed, some of the attending teams at will be also playing in the events surrounding this minor, with Na’Vi and Mineski flying into Romania straight after the SL i-League Invitational Season 3 minor LAN playoffs, while EG and Team Secret will fly from Bucharest to Germany to participate at ESL One Hamburg Major. – Cara Daftar Sbobet

Team Secret themselves are also in the SL i-League Invitational minor European qualifiers grand finals, where they will fight against OG for what would be the third event secured for Puppey’s team while for OG’s would be the first LAN following TI7.
