Team Secret managed to repeat their feat to qualify a Dota 2 minor event after securing their spot in the LAN Finals a separate event.
The European team would play in the StarLadder i-League Invitational Season 3 that runs from 12th to 15th October at the Kiev CyberSport Arena, in what will be the first minor of the Dota 2 Pro Circuit that offers points which in turn determines the entrants to the next edition of The International.
This comes just days after Team Secret’s win over mousesports in the PGL Open Bucharest EU qualifiers that already ensure their presence in at least one of those aforementioned minors, that also happens to follow-up the StarLadder event immediately. – Cara Daftar Sbobet
SL i-League Invitational S3 will offer a $300,000 prize pool up for grabs along with 300 Pro Circuit points, and the participants, coming from 2 direct invites and 6 regional qualifiers are as follows:
- Team Liquid (direct invite)
- Newbee (direct invite)
- Natus Vincere (CIS qualifiers)
- Team Secret (EU qualifiers)
- Mineski (SEA qualifiers)
- compLexity Gaming (NA qualifiers)

In terms of rosters, TI7 winners Team Liquid will be the only squad alongside TI runners-up Newbee who went through the roster shuffle period following TI7 to maintain their roster unchanged, even as Valve as Valve implemented specific qualifiers rules on player shuffle and other aspects for all the events that want to become a minor/major and a Valve sponsored event.
However, Liquid would also stand as favourites to the tournament after winning the last edition of SL i-League Invitational, played as recent as May 2017.
