OpTic and EnVyUs grab final spots to IEM Oakland

OpTic Gaming and EnVyUs grabbed the final spots to Intel Extreme Masters Season XII Oakland to round of the team lineups to the CS:GO event set to kick off next month from November 16 to 19.

For OpTic’s roster of mixed nationalities, the NA team enjoyed a fairly easy run by comparison, beating the likes of open bracket team Torqued by 2-0, before close encounters against NRG Esports and Renegades that ended on 2-1 scores.

Still, it is out of the frying pan and into the fire for both teams as they need to prove their mettle in the face of main event team lineup, which includes Astralis, Cloud9, FaZe Clan, G2 Esports, Gambit Esports, Immortals, Team Liquid, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and SK Gaming, even as the group lineups remain unannounced.
