Dignitas release Asger “AcilioN” Larsen and Joakim “jkaem” Myrbostad

Dignitas have announced that they have released Asger “AcilioN” Larsen and Joakim “jkaem” Myrbostad from their contracts with the team.

Their departure comes eight months after Dignitas acquired jkaem, who joined the roster with former FaZe Clan stalwart Ricardo “fox” Pacheco on March 23. AcilioN’s tenure with Dignitas on the other hand was far more brief after having joined the roster just two months ago as ingame leader.

But the split hardly comes as a surprise to anyone after Dignitas experienced a slump in results, which include the failure to to secure a spot at the Europe Minor Championship following a 2-1 defeat to TEAM5 in the Round of 16 of the open qualifier.

Both players have already been removed from the team’s roster section since on the dignitas official website, although the organisation still to issue a statement on the matter.

Jorgen “cromen” Robertsen, who had been removed from dignitas following the signings of Christian “loWel” Garcia Antoran and AcilioN, has been playing for the team in ESEA Open, while team coach Morten “zEVES” Vollan has been occupied the other post.

zEVES, 26, is mostly known for his time with the Norwegian LGB eSports roster, with whom he attended the ESL One Katowice 2015 Major alongside players like RUBINO and Havard “rain” Nygaard.

The current dignitas roster looks thus:

  • Ricardo “fox” Pacheco
  • Ruben “RUBINO” Villarroel
  • Christian “loWel” Garcia Antoran
  • Jorgen “cromen” Robertsen
  • Morten “zEVES” Vollan
