CSGO: Xizt to join FaZe roster as olofmeister takes leave of absence

FaZe Clan have announced that they have completed the signing of Ninjas in Pyjamas member Richard “Xizt” Landstrom on social media as Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer takes a leave of absence due to personal issues.

However, the deal had to be announced by the end of the day as FaZe are due to play their next ESL Pro League match on Tuesday and roster changes in this competition “must be requested at least 48 hours before the next scheduled match”.

But as things goes, the former NiP player has already been added to FaZe’s ESEA roster and will play his first match for the team against EnVyUs.

As for olofmesister, 27, the former Fnatic star “will be back in full force when the time comes” as Xizt set is to play for the team “for an internally-discussed period of time”, which was not revealed.

Xizt had been out of action since February, when he was replaced by Dennis “dennis” Edman on NiP’s roster after over five years with the team.

While he came close to joining fnatic last month, the Swedish side decided to keep Maikil “Golden” Selim on the roster in the end after winning IEM Katowice and the WESG World Finals. Cloud9 then opened talks with NiP, but the transfer now appears to be hijacked by FaZe at the last minute.
